Whitecap Dakota Nation Self-Government Treaty

Under the Self-Government Treaty Recognizing the Whitecap Dakota Nation / Wapaha Ska Dakota Oyate, Whitecap Dakota Nation has jurisdiction and authority over child and family services for children who are Whitecap Dakota Nation memebers and who are ordinarily resident on WDN Reserve Lands. Laws that may be passed by Whitecap Dakota Nation will apply in priority to most federal laws.

Whitecap Dakota Nation provides services to its community through an agreement with Agency Chiefs Child and Family Services.
