You can use this tool to search for lawyers by location, area of the law, billing methods (flat fee or hourly) and services offered such as legal coaching, mediation or virtual appointments.

Legal Aid
Provides legal services to low-income individuals for family law matters and criminal cases. If you are on social assistance, disability assistance (SAID) or Band assistance, you are usually eligible for legal aid. For criminal cases you may only qualify if you are facing the risk of jail time or loss of employment if found guilty. For family cases they deal with parenting, support and child protection matters.

Limited Licensed Legal Professionals
These are non-lawyers who can provide some specific legal services including preparing separation agreements, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Healthcare Directives. The services they can provide will depend on what their licence from the Law Society allows. You can find one using the Law Society of Saskatchewan’s Find Legal Assistance tool.
